We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: CVICU Registered Nurse in Jersey City, NJ.

Requirements:

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Required Skills: Accessing/Managing Ports, Acute Kidney Injury, Arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP), Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), CVA/Acute Stroke management, CVVHD/CRRT, Emergency Medications, FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, Fresh tracheostomy, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, Impella, Infection Prevention, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Blood Product Administration, Epicardial Pacing Wire Care and Management, Fibrinogen, INR, Intake and Output monitoring, Management of high-output drains, Massive transfusion protocol, Monitoring for abdominal compartment syndrome, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, PT/PTT, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Pulmonary edema, Pulmonary embolism, Respiratory failure, Sheath Removal, Shunts/Fistula Care, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Urine output assessment, TPN/Lipids, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Valve Repair/Replacement, Ventilator Management
