Summary: This is a Contract Administrator position reporting to the Contract Administration Senior Manager and supporting the Marketing Commercial Group. The position involves working as an integral part of the team which processes contractual documents and performs system entry. Applicants must have the desire and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and strong organization skills. This position has a Houston based, in office work schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Collaborate across the business lines to ensure processes are followed and needs are met. * Draft confirmations as they relate to the business. * Confirm physical gas deals using various methods. * Verify confirmations received from third parties match our deals. * Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies. * Utilize FileNet for document retention. * Meet SOX and other governmental requirements as established for this position. * Cross train and provide back up for other team members. * Special projects as required, and any additional duties as assigned from time to time. Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: * Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3+ years of related industry experience in lieu of degree. Working Conditions:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Usually, normal office working conditions. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment. | |
