Senior Manufacturing Engineering Technician - 3rd Shift

As a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will support advanced industrial manufacturing operations on our 3rd shift in Roswell, GA, within a clean, climate-controlled medical device manufacturing environment. This role focuses on industrial maintenance, electro-mechanical maintenance, and overall manufacturing maintenance.

The Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance team supports the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical manufacturing equipment that enables IDEXX to deliver high-quality products to customers around the world. Unlike traditional industrial settings, this is a clean, dry, boiler-free facility where you'll have your own IDEXX toolbox, assigned desk, computer, and cellphone to support your day-to-day work.

Shift Information: 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, 9:30 pm to 6:00 am.

This is an opportunity to work in a modern, high-tech manufacturing environment supporting sophisticated electro-mechanical equipment and automation systems that directly impact production efficiency and product quality. You'll play a key role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and helping operations run safely and efficiently.

• You'll perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced manufacturing equipment using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
• You'll troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems including motors, conveyors, sensors, pneumatic systems, and motion control equipment
• You'll support robotics and automation systems, including vision-guided equipment, precision dispensing systems, and ultrasonic welding equipment
• You'll diagnose and resolve electrical issues involving both AC and DC systems
• You'll disassemble, rebuild, and optimize complex manufacturing equipment to improve performance and reliability
• You'll apply root-cause analysis techniques to identify recurring equipment failures and recommend long-term corrective actions
• You'll partner closely with engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance team members to support safe and efficient operations
• You'll help analyze equipment and maintenance data to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Your day-to-day will include supporting operational continuity through reliable attendance and schedule flexibility when business needs arise

• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, electro-mechanical technician, or related maintenance technician roles (required)
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting AC and DC electrical systems within an industrial manufacturing environment (required)
• Experience supporting electro-mechanical systems including conveyors, motors, sensors, pneumatics, and motion control systems (required)
• Experience working with PLCs, ideally Allen Bradley controllers (required)
• Ability to troubleshoot, disassemble, and rebuild complex industrial manufacturing equipment (required)
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while collaborating cross-functionally with production and engineering teams (required)
• Willingness to support overtime and occasional weekend work based on operational needs (required)
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) (required)
• Experience working with Epson or Fanuc robotic systems (preferred)
• Experience supporting highly automated or medical device manufacturing environments (preferred)

• An hourly rate target of $36 / hour based on experience

• This is a 3rd shift role, 9:30 pm to 6:00 am, Monday through Friday.
• This role requires being onsite in Roswell, GA five days a week, plus overtime and occasional weekend work as needed.
• The shifts and hours may vary slightly depending on business needs.
