The opportunity Join Hitachi Energy as a Senior Facility Engineer and help keep critical manufacturing operations running safely, reliably, and efficiently. In this role, you'll bring your engineering expertise to the planning, development, and implementation of maintenance programs that improve equipment availability and productivity. You'll work at the intersection of engineering, maintenance, and production, helping solve complex equipment challenges while identifying opportunities to strengthen reliability and long-term performance. You'll have the opportunity to review mechanical and electrical engineering specifications, evaluate new equipment designs from a maintainability and reliability perspective, and support the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Just as importantly, you'll collaborate closely with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment needs while minimizing disruption to operations. As a senior professional, you'll have the autonomy to manage projects and processes, tackle challenging technical problems, and share your expertise by coaching and supporting other professionals.
