Summary:
Provides financial and budgetary support for a clinical department. Responsibilities may include materials management, financial analysis, report management, and supervision of business office staff.

Responsibilities:
1. Designs, implements and maintains systems and processes in support of finance and administration.
2. Ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines. Establishes and reviews policies and procedures related to the Perioperative Surgical Support Services.
3. Provides direction and oversight to OR charge posting team. Ensures staff is appropriately trained and that OR charges are posted timely by month-end.

4. Partners with Revenue Cycle to identify opportunities for revenue cycle enhancement and denial prevention.

5. Responsible for Human Resources functions of staff which include recruiting/hiring, conducting performance evaluations, training and development, and counseling/disciplinary action.
6. Responsible for oversight of local Periop Surgical Value Analysis Committee. Includes iterative enhancements of process, education and support to clinical teams. Includes building and maintaining automated systems when appropriate and tracking efficiency. This includes serving as a liaison between operational leaders, System Supply Chain, and other entities as related to supply and equipment contracts/management.
7. Responsible for supporting perioperative financial management, including budget development, expense analysis, capital planning, and identification of opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost reduction. This includes but is not limited to developing business cases, executive presentations, and strategic recommendations to support leadership decision-making.

8. Oversees vendor relationships and compliance, contract monitoring, procurement activities, and business processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals, service expectations, and financial stewardship.

9. Promotes a culture of accountability, customer service, continuous learning, and proactive problem solving. Anticipates operational needs while ensuring solutions are aligned with stakeholder priorities and organizational objectives.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
* Five (5) years of experience in business, financial analysis or materials management
