THE ROLE: We areseekinga dynamic and experiencedPower IP and System Validation Engineerto join our growing Systems Design Engineering team. In this high-visibility role, you will drive post-silicon bring-up, characterization, and validation of analog and mixed-signal power-management IP for advanced AMD products. You will work at the intersection of silicon, firmware, systems, and laboratory validation to evaluate IP performance, troubleshoot complex hardware and software interactions, andoptimizepower-management features across operating conditions. You will collaborate closely with analog mixed-signal design, RTL, platform firmware, validation, and production teams to resolve technical issues and support the delivery of high-quality, industry-leading technologies. The Systems Design Engineering team encourages continuous technical innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and career development. Your work will help improve AMD's validation capabilities, influence future IP designs, and contribute directly to successful product delivery. You are a detail-oriented systems engineer with strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. You enjoy working at the intersection of silicon, firmware, and software and can independently drive complex technical issues to resolution. You communicate effectively and thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional engineering environment. THE PERSON: You are a technically curious and highly analytical systems engineer who enjoys solving complex problems at the intersection of hardware, firmware, and software. You bring a structured and data-driven approach to silicon debug, characterization, and root-cause analysis. You communicate effectively across technical disciplines, take ownership of challenging assignments, and can independently drive work to completion. You are detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable providing technical direction in a fast-paced product-development environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
