What You'll Do:
  • Support engineering activities involving prototype electromechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians on technical processes, troubleshooting, and best practices.
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, and interface documentation.
  • Perform system-level and component-level troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Build, calibrate, adjust, install, maintain, and modify equipment, components, devices, and systems.
  • Conduct testing, checkout, integration, and verification activities using engineering documentation and specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to support product development and system improvements.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related technical discipline; or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting engineering development, testing, fabrication, assembly, integration, or troubleshooting activities.
  • 5+ years of experience interpreting complex engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • 5+ years of experience performing system-level and component-level troubleshooting.
  • 5+ years of experience building, modifying, calibrating, installing, or maintaining electronic, electromechanical, or test systems.
  • 5+ years of experience working with engineering specifications, standards, and technical requirements.
  • Ability to identify technical issues, develop solutions, and execute corrective actions independently.

  • Work Environment: Advanced engineering laboratory and development environment supporting sophisticated electronic and electromechanical systems.
