Position Title: Welder / Fabricator
Wage: $23.00 - $28.00/hour Shift: 1st or 2nd Hours: 5:00am - 3:30pm or 3:30pm - 2:00am (Monday - Thursday) Step into a high-skill, high-reward role, where your craftsmanship isn't just valued - it powers innovation around the world. As a Welder/Fabricator, you'll join a family-owned, AISC-certified company in Merrill, WI with over 60 years of industry excellence. Welder / Fabricator Responsibilities: - Perform MIG and Flux-core welding on custom fabrication projects - Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings - Layout, fit, and assemble fabricated components - Inspect welds for quality and identify weld defects or discontinuities - Work safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards - Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule Requirements for Welder / Fabricator: - MIG and/or Flux-core welding experience - Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings - Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work - Fabrication experience is a plus - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of weld quality standards and discontinuities preferred Benefits: - Health insurance with no deductible and simple copays - Free primary care through Anovia Health - Year-round work with no seasonal layoffs - Production incentives, including $2.00 Friday premium pay after 40 hours and double time after 50 hours - 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting - Company-paid dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, and Employee Assistance Program - Paid time off available after 90 days - Paid holidays - Tuition reimbursement - Safety toe boot reimbursement - Prescription safety glasses reimbursement - Mentorship for new hires and opportunities to advance IND050 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
