Part Time Marketing Coordinator

Behm Consulting LLC
$30-45/hr - *salary depends on experience
United States, Wisconsin, Appleton
Aug 22, 2026
Part-Time Marketing & Communications Coordinator 16-20 Hours/Week | Hybrid | Northeast Wisconsin Make an Impact. Own the Marketing Function.

We're a growing industrial equipment manufacturer looking for a creative, curious, and self-motivated marketing professional to help build and execute our marketing strategy.

This is not a role where you'll simply be handed a social media calendar and asked to check boxes. You'll have the opportunity to learn our products and industry, work directly with engineers and sales leaders, create compelling content, improve our digital presence, and take marketing projects from idea to execution.

With a flexible, part-time schedule and a hybrid work environment, this is a great opportunity for an experienced marketer, communications professional, technical writer, or creative professional who wants meaningful work without the commitment of a traditional full-time position.

What You'll Do Own Marketing Content & Communications
  • Develop and manage marketing content across digital and print channels.

  • Interview engineers, sales professionals, leadership, and other subject matter experts to turn technical information into clear, engaging content.

  • Write and edit newsletters, website content, blog articles, case studies, LinkedIn posts, and other marketing materials.

  • Develop messaging that helps customers understand our products, capabilities, and value.

Manage Our Digital Presence
  • Maintain and improve our Wix website, keeping content current, accurate, and engaging.

  • Manage Google Ads campaigns and monitor performance.

  • Identify opportunities to improve our digital marketing efforts and online visibility.

  • Track results and recommend ways to improve engagement and performance.

Create Visual & Sales Materials
  • Create and update product literature, brochures, data sheets, presentations, and other sales materials.

  • Use photography and basic video to capture our products, people, and manufacturing environment.

  • Help develop creative assets for digital campaigns, trade shows, and other marketing initiatives.

Support Events & Business Development
  • Coordinate marketing materials and promotional activities for trade shows and industry events.

  • Work with sales and leadership to identify opportunities to better support customer acquisition and business development.

  • Help turn company expertise, customer success stories, and industry knowledge into useful marketing content.

Take Projects From Idea to Completion
  • Manage marketing projects from initial concept through research, content development, design, review, and final publication.

  • Work independently while collaborating with team members across the organization.

  • Bring new ideas to the table and proactively identify ways we can strengthen our marketing.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is curious, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership. You don't need to know industrial equipment when you start-we expect you to learn.

You should be someone who enjoys asking questions, talking to technical experts, turning complex information into understandable content, and figuring out how to get a project across the finish line.

You'll Bring:
  • Strong writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills.

  • The ability to learn technical products and translate complex concepts into clear, compelling content.

  • Experience with website management; Wix experience is a plus.

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Canva, or similar design tools.

  • Familiarity with Google Ads and digital marketing fundamentals.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects.

  • A proactive, self-directed approach to work.

  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team.

  • Experience in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, technical writing, or a related field.

Experience That Would Make You Stand Out
  • B2B marketing

  • Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or other technical industries

  • Technical or product marketing

  • Trade show and event marketing

  • Photography

  • Basic video production or editing

  • Experience working directly with sales or business development teams

We are open to different backgrounds. If you have strong marketing or communications skills and can demonstrate that you can learn a technical industry, we encourage you to apply even if you don't check every box.

The Position

Hours: 16-20 hours per week

Schedule: Flexible schedule designed to provide flexibility while ensuring consistent support for the business.

You'll work directly with the people who know our products and customers best, giving you the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of a technical industry while building marketing programs that have a tangible impact on the business.

If you're looking for a part-time marketing role where you can think creatively, learn something new, work with smart people, and actually see your ideas put into action, we'd love to hear from you.
