Overview

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health, the Medical Records Specialist will be responsible for all activities related to the disclosure of Helio Health service recipient health records pursuant to consents, subpoenas, and other requests.

This schedule will be 40 hours per week.

In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, this position is eligible for a Sign-On incentive up to $1,500!

Pay Rate: $52,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year



Responsibilities

    Review requests for records disclosures.
  • Evaluate requests against legal requirements and agency policies.
  • Produce records.
  • Maintain log of disclosures.
  • Monitor requests for timely and compliany completion.
  • Train staff on confidentiality and medical record process as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current and valid Notary Public license preferred.
  • Experience in human services preferred.
  • Experience in utilizing electronic health records preferred.
  • Experience in reviewing and fullfilling medical record requests preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered.
