The Packaged Gas Growth Acceleration Director serves as a strategic partner and facilitator dedicated to elevating our PG Business Performance. In this partnership role, the Director acts as a vital link between corporate vision and regional execution, supporting our 18 regions in enhancing profitability through the thoughtful expansion of our nationwide Densification program.
By focusing on market density and optimizing our current assets, the Director helps teams maximize the value of every delivery while fostering the partnership between CID, PG Marketing to support the culture of operational efficiency. Beyond immediate growth, they are committed to the long-term health of our business-partnering with regional leads to bring the Streamlining initiative to a successful close and co-creating the roadmap for Phase 2. To ensure these successes are lasting, the Director will introduce a PG Maturity Assessment framework. This "Gold Standard" is built on Peer Benchmarking and Best-in-class reference, and is owned by the Region.

  • Strategy: Execute a comprehensive densification program to optimize asset utilization and market density.

  • Execution: Lead the full-scale rollout of the program across all 18 regions, establishing localized KPIs and logistics benchmarks.

  • Growth: Identify opportunities to increase cylinder turns and reduce "empty miles" through data-driven route and inventory density planning.

2. Packaged Gas Streamlining (Execution & Phase 2 Transition)

  • Current State: Oversee the finalization of Phase 1 across the remaining regions to ensure total organizational alignment.

  • Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the current streamlining process and implement lean methodologies to improve speed-to-market.

  • Phase 2 Vision: Define the roadmap and objectives for Phase 2, focusing on advanced automation and sustainable cost reduction. Working hand in hand with CID.

3. Packaged Gas Maturity Assessment (Development & Launch)

  • Framework Design: Build a robust, standardized Maturity Assessment tool from the ground up to evaluate regional performance across safety, service, and profitability.

  • Standardization: Establish the "Gold Standard" for packaged gas operations, creating a clear pathway for regions to move from "Developing" to "World Class."

  • Partnering: Launch the assessment program nationwide, using results to drive targeted capital investment and leadership coaching.
