Job DescriptionThe Fleet Coordinator is responsible for statewide management and coordination of the daily operations of TSTC's fleet vehicles. The coordinator will ensure efficient vehicle utilization, oversee maintenance and repairs, monitor driver schedules, and maintain compliance with transportation regulations

Hiring Range is $49-53K
The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Equivalent combination of education, training and relevant professional experience will be considered.

Essential Functions

  • Employee will demonstrate TSTC Core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service and Integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students and members of the community.
  • Ensure accurate fleet lists for assigned campuses in all fleet systems including but not limited to Efleets, FleetCommander and TxFS (State Database).
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules and repair of fleet vehicles and transport vehicles to and from appointments.
  • Assist with the delivery, disposal and transfer processes of vehicles; including removal and cancelation of plates, toll tags, fuel cards, systems updates and asset assignment
  • Responsible for managing vehicle registration, renewal, and titles.
  • Maintain relationships with local dealers, repair facilities, body shops and wash providers, manage payment for all of these vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of all fleet maintenance and repair activities.
  • Track fleet-related expenses and assist in budget planning.
  • Manage vehicle reservation requests.
  • Serve as main point of contact for all vehicle related questions and issues.

Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills

  • Associate Degree, or 2 years' experience in fleet management or a related field.
  • Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
  • Familiarity with transportation regulations and compliance.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using fleet management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
