Summary of the Job:

The Commercial Credit Performance and Controls Enablement Associate role is responsible for redesigning commercial credit processes to facilitate increased productivity, efficiency, and a more robust controls environment, reducing operational errors. The position drives operational excellence in Commercial Credit through continuous improvement initiatives, standard operating procedure development, and process optimization. Key responsibilities include designing consistent credit analysis and review processes across loan types and sizes, developing standard procedures, controls, and training to facilitate change, and leading outsourcing initiatives. The position requires expertise in leading end-to-end credit lifecycle management, including risk assessment, procedure development and implementation, and systems enhancements. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with risk, finance, technology, and operations. The position emphasizes both strategic leadership and operational execution in commercial credit management while ensuring adherence to the credit culture and banking regulations requirements.

Job Specific Responsibilities / Accountabilities
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the credit department remains adaptable, resilient, and aligned with the broader business strategy.
  • Support the design and implementation of commercial credit analysis and review processes focused on efficiency, speed of response to customers, system controls for policy and data integrity.
  • Adapt and implement comprehensive standardized credit procedures and policies.
  • Lead outsourcing/offshoring initiatives for credit processes.
  • Provide input on strategic vision for end-to-end commercial credit process design and optimization.
  • Support commercial credit systems strategy for reporting, capacity management, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with Risk, Finance, Technology, Operations, and other business units.
  • Accountable for adherence to allocated budget.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and BSA/AML requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
* 5+ years' experience in Commercial, Ag, CRE and/or Consumer credit analysis.

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $81,662.00-$134,741.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Work Environment:

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week. As part of our team, you'll experience the energy and relationship-building of face-to-face collaboration while still enjoying the flexibility of remote workdays. We provide the tools and technology to ensure seamless transitions between work environments, supporting your productivity wherever you are. Please note that work location is subject to change based on business needs.
