Position Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor is a hands-on working leader responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting facility infrastructure and production support equipment in an aerospace chemical processing environment. Approximately 90% of this role is hands-on maintenance work and 10% is focused on planning, scheduling, inventory management, and team leadership. This position provides day-to-day direction and training to maintenance technicians while supporting equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure, utility systems, and production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems.
  • Perform welding and fabrication work, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
  • Maintain and support processing tanks, paint systems, shot peen equipment, rectifiers, compressors, cranes, and related production support equipment.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot monitoring and control systems.
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Provide daily direction, training, and support to maintenance technicians.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
  • Work with contractors and vendors to support facility and equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain maintenance records, inventory, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are performed in compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and applicable environmental requirements.
  • Promote safe work practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, fall protection, and proper use of PPE.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and support corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing, chemical processing, metal finishing, plating, anodizing, or a related industrial environment.
  • Previous lead, supervisory, or maintenance leadership experience.
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, plumbing, welding, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Experience with HVAC, compressors, production support equipment, and facility systems.
  • Experience operating forklifts, cranes, hoists, and other industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management software (CMMS) preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space entry, and PPE requirements.
Physical & Work Environment
  • Regular standing, walking, climbing, lifting, and working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds.
  • Exposure to machinery, chemicals, airborne particles, noise, and varying environmental conditions.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $90000 to $125000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
