What to Expect
GFNY is looking for a highly motivated individual to lead,supportand manage the manufacturing training system for our Training Coordinators. This leader will build a strong and capable manufacturing training team that supports GFNY operations. The Training Supervisor willbe responsible forthe successful implementation of the Training and Certification System. A successful candidate is innovative, organized, confident, and driven to achieve training targets and goals. This full-time role requires the flexibility to support manufacturing training activities withon-goingcooperation of the Workstation Trainers and all Manufacturing stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Manage the training staff to ensure professional onboarding and training and manage day-to-day activities associated with new hire training and onboarding teams (includinglogistics, allocations, etc.)
- Work with the Production Manager, Supervisors, andWork StationTrainers onthe development and execution of trainingcurriculum. This includestrainingofnew hires and cross-trainingpresent associates
- Develop training standards and ensure that all employees completing trainingare capable ofperformingtostandard. Anticipate needs in current training and implement new training courses with relevant subject matter experts to close gaps
- Develop and instruct technical training courses in advanced manufacturing technologies
- Understanding ofthe cross functional requirements and application of continuous improvement strategies.Work withthe crossfunctional teams to develop training to resolve identified production issues
- Acquirenew technical competencies, develop technical training, and keep up to date with the latest manufacturing technologies and processes
- Ensurethattrainingsystem and records areISO 9001 compliant. Use the Learning Management System (LMS),to tracktraining, assigntraining, coordinatetrainingand createtrainingreports. Promotes continuous improvement of alltrainingprograms through solicited feedback from course attendees and management
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Industrial, Systems orManufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strongdemonstratedtechnical aptitude in advanced manufacturing technologies to include robotics, microcontrollers, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and HMIs
- Experience working in a manufacturing operations environment and providing on-the-jobtrainingwith manufacturing personnel
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement andproblem solvingmethodologies. Experience developing and delivering technical training curricula
- Understanding in adult learning principles, instructionaldesignor education. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including solid interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proven ability to be highly organized with strong attention to detail. Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point). Demonstrates personal leadership and accountability
- Minimum 2-3 years of similar experience

Expected Compensation
- Supervisor Training - $86,400 - $129,600/annual salary
+ cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
