Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking an experienced Finance Director to be the strategic financial thought partner for GeorgiaPacific's Strategic Sourcing & Procurement (SS&P) organization. You will bring a contribution-motivated mindset that emphasizes economic thinking and principled entrepreneurship. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, assessing a high volume of proposed deals and initiatives with speed, precision, and analytical rigor. You will partner across the company to identify highvalue opportunities, frame key drivers, and evaluate alternatives. You will influence stakeholders at all levels through excellent communication skills, distilling complex topics into clear and compelling narratives. You will elevate SS&P's financial rigor through coaching, role modeling, and scalable processes. You will also leverage emerging technologies (including AI-enabled tools) to accelerate insight generation, improve forecast/model quality, and scale repeatable financial processes. The Finance Director will report to the Director of Market Insights & Finance. Location: You will work onsite, from our Corporate HQ in Downtown Atlanta, GA. This is a visible role where fostering relationships and collaborating with teams across the company will be key to your success. While GP offers some work location flexibility, we have an approach that includes a weekly in-office presence. The Team: Georgia-Pacific's Strategic Sourcing and Procurement (SS&P) organization is responsible for sourcing and delivering the raw materials, energy, equipment, parts, finished goods and services our businesses require - on time, at the right total cost and value, aligned to company financial objectives. SS&P directly supports our manufacturing teams by executing prioritized, facility and business level strategies that capture the full value of what we buy. Within SS&P, the Strategy and Insights team plays a critical role in identifying and capturing value. This dynamic team is comprised of Finance, Market Insights, Data Analytics and Governance, Pricing, and RFx teams that support data-driven decisions that create lasting competitive advantage. What You Will Do Provide financial leadership and analytical support for key sourcing & procurement decisions
Build strong partnerships across the company to align SS&P efforts with business priorities
Lead SS&P financial reporting processes
