What to Expect As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and executing construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with the design team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Your technical expertise, organizational skills, and ability to effectively communicate will be key in coordinating and facilitating various aspects of the construction process. What You'll Do Track site execution and inspections to ensure work is performed according to safety guidelines and quality standards. Ensure adherenceofcontractors' Quality Control standards and support internal Quality Assurance/Commissioning for turnover of MEP systems Expedite solutions to design clashes while coordinating withdesignteam for best path forward. Must be able to field verify existing conditions against Contract Documents and bring up, or address, foreseeable issues Monitor project costs and expenses, comparing actuals against the budget while also Identifying cost-saving opportunities. Experience in reviewing, generating, and submitting RFI's and Submittals Track and review contractor invoices. Create, manage, update, and enforce overall project schedule based off project documents. Compare and trackbaselinefrom actual and report variances. Familiarity with Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project Responsible for project buy-out including developing bid packages, working with Procurement to issue RFP's, writing contracts and Scopes of Work, and issuing Work Orders. Conduct weeklyreviewprogress meetings with project teams toidentifyscope gaps, risks, project goals, and recovery plans Problemsolve, multitask, and prioritize projectobjectivesbased on critical needs and schedule Must be experienced in reading, interpreting, and implementing Contract Documents and Specifications. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local authorities, industry standards, and codes.
