Title: Construction Management Professional Career Level (Night Shift)
Duration: 3+ Months
Location: Clayton, NC
Note: Tentatively, the schedule fluctuates with Week 1 being 5 nights Mon-Fri (with Friday being a shorter night) and Week 2 being 4 nights Mon-Thur (i.e., work schedule is wk1: 58 hrs, wk2: 48 hrs, repeat). This is subject to change and will vary week-to-week.
Overview We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Night Shift Construction Manager who thrives when people are in sync and construction projects are running like they should. You will take the lead on daily coordination of night shift field activities, collaborating with the day shift team for shift turnover, ensuring work quality, and leading the night shift team. Most importantly, you'll take action to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of the team and the environment. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree.
- At least 15+ years of construction site experience.
- At least 15+ years of experience as a General Foreman, Superintendent, and/or Construction Manager.
- Strong focus on Construction Safety Culture with a "Safety First" mindset.
- Experience managing multi-discipline, large-scale construction projects or managing a portfolio of small to mid-cap projects in the Life Sciences industry.
- Experience with field supervision of craft, particularly MEP trades.
- Experience coordinating and planning:
- Pipe pressure testing.
- Flushing.
- Cleaning.
- Passivation.
- Blowdown.
- Drying activities.
- Experience coordinating construction activities across multiple disciplines and subcontractors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate internally, with multiple subcontractors, and with client personnel regarding construction activities, schedules, sequencing, conflict resolution, and work progress.
- Knowledge of Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) testing/reporting.
- Knowledge of the commissioning and qualification process as it relates to MEP systems.

- Knowledge and experience implementing LEAN strategies and technologies in project execution, including:
- Last Planner System (LPS).
- 5S Construction.
- Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM).
- LPS software such as vPlanner, Hoylu, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge and familiarity with reviewing and executing project schedules in:
- Primavera P6.
- Last Planner (vPlanner) format.
- Working knowledge of construction project sequencing and use of 3D technologies, including:
- Navisworks.
- Revizto.
- BIM360.
- Revit.
- Other similar platforms.
- Life Sciences industry experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work extended hours to support field supervision, including under extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
- Stamina to walk large job sites, climb stairs or ladders, and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to move and balance around construction sites, including uneven terrain, scaffolding, and tight spaces.
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed to inspect work or access certain areas.
- Ability to lift moderate weights (up to 40 lbs.) when required to move materials or equipment.
- Good vision for reading drawings, inspecting work, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Strong hearing to maintain awareness of surroundings.
- Manual dexterity to handle tools or equipment with precision during inspections and daily tasks.
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks while maintaining safety standards.
