Corporate & Securities Associate (Public Company Advisors Team) - Preference for NYC / DC locations

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is seeking a mid to senior level transactional associate to join its Corporate & Securities Practice Group. This position is part of Womble Bond Dickinson's firmwide Public Company Advisors Team, and the associate will work in a collaborative environment as part of a dynamic multi-office team representing the firm's public company and other clients. The successful candidate will represent large Nasdaq and NYSE-listed public company clients across a variety of industries, gaining meaningful exposure to complex securities, corporate governance, capital markets, and regulatory matters.

We are particularly interested in candidates located in New York, Boston, and the Washington, DC metropolitan area; however, this position may be based in any of our offices in North Carolina, South Carolina, Houston, Nashville, Atlanta, or Baltimore.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must have at least four years of corporate & securities experience at a large regional or national law firm. Candidates with relevant experience, including prior service with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior SEC experience is considered a significant plus.
• Candidates must have experience with Securities Act of 1933 equity and debt offerings and Securities Exchange Act of 1934 matters, including proxy statements, periodic reporting on Forms 8-K, 10-K, and 10-Q, and Section 16 reporting.
• Candidates will have the opportunity to represent large Nasdaq and NYSE-listed public company clients across a broad range of securities law, disclosure, governance and transactional matters.
• Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials, strong analytical abilities, and outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Candidates must be licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction in which they are located or be eligible to become licensed as soon as possible.

• Womble Bond Dickinson offers competitive compensation and in addition, we offer a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and Paid Time Off "PTO"/Vacation. A discretionary bonus may be available based on performance.
  
• The national average salary range for this role is $225,000-$375,000. Starting salary will be determined based on location, qualifications, and experience.
