Production Manager - Manufacturing Assembly (Direct Hire)

Lead high-performing manufacturing teams and drive operational excellence. We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee manufacturing assembly operations for complex mechanical and electrical products. What You'll Do

• Lead daily manufacturing and assembly operations to ensure on-time production and customer delivery.
• Manage production supervisors, technicians, assemblers, and support staff.
• Drive KPIs including productivity, quality, efficiency, labor utilization, and on-time delivery.
• Implement and support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance teams to optimize production processes.
• Oversee production scheduling, workforce planning, inventory control, and ERP/MRP system accuracy.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Manage labor costs, budgets, capacity planning, and process improvements.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in a mechanical and electrical assembly environment.
• Strong background in manufacturing operations, production planning, electromechanical assembly, lean manufacturing, and quality systems.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, NetSuite, or similar.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, communication, and team development skills.
