  • Base Pay Range:$36.19 - $52.67 per hour, based on experience

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Coordinates daily surgical case scheduling in collaboration with physicians, anesthesia, and perioperative teams.
  • Maintains the operating room scheduling board, ensuring all cases are accurately updated in real-time.
  • Communicates scheduling changes and case updates promptly to all stakeholders, including surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing teams.
  • Serves as a liaison to facilitate effective communication and timely decision-making across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Assists with staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage for surgical cases and daily operations.
  • Ensures all scheduling practices align with established hospital policies and perioperative guidelines.
  • Collaborates with leadership to resolve conflicts, delays, or issues affecting operating room efficiency.
  • Supports coordination of emergency and add-on surgical cases as required.
  • May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired.
  • Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
  • Two (2) years of experience in operating room clinical practice.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiringdepartment.
