Shift: This will be two 12 hour shifts per week, from 5am to 5:30pm. DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Coordinates daily surgical case scheduling in collaboration with physicians, anesthesia, and perioperative teams. Maintains the operating room scheduling board, ensuring all cases are accurately updated in real-time. Communicates scheduling changes and case updates promptly to all stakeholders, including surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing teams. Serves as a liaison to facilitate effective communication and timely decision-making across multidisciplinary teams. Assists with staff scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage for surgical cases and daily operations. Ensures all scheduling practices align with established hospital policies and perioperative guidelines. Collaborates with leadership to resolve conflicts, delays, or issues affecting operating room efficiency. Supports coordination of emergency and add-on surgical cases as required. May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired. Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days. Two (2) years of experience in operating room clinical practice. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiringdepartment.
