Role: ServiceNow Release / QA / Test Analyst - This is a remote opportunity

Purpose:

Protect the key developer from being consumed by sprint evidence, testing, documentation, and release coordination.

Role Summary:

ServiceNow QA/release analyst who can support sprint planning, story acceptance criteria, test planning, regression testing, accessibility/security scan tracking, release documentation, update-set validation, backlog hygiene, and weekly status inputs. The contract requires production-ready source code, deployment scripts/configuration files, quality/security/accessibility reports, unit/performance tests, automated testing scripts, test plans, testing results, accessibility results, performance test plans/results, user stories, story estimates, updated backlog, and weekly reporting.

Mandatory Requirements:
  • 5+ years QA, release, business analysis, or technical delivery experience.
  • 2+ years ServiceNow project or application sustainment experience.
  • Experience writing acceptance criteria from Product Owner stories.
  • Experience creating test plans and documenting test results.
  • Experience supporting regression testing after ServiceNow upgrades or patches.
  • Familiarity with update sets, Dev/Test/Prod promotion, or ServiceNow application repository.
  • Ability to track risks, impediments, staffing issues, percent complete, and sprint status.
  • Experience with Section 508/accessibility testing documentation or willingness to work from scan results.
  • Ability to write clear release notes, defect summaries, and user-facing documentation updates.
Strongly Preferred:
  • ServiceNow Automated Test Framework.
  • Experience with ServiceNow CSM or Service Portal.
  • Experience supporting federal Agile/Kanban sprint delivery.
  • Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow Agile, GitHub, or similar backlog/repository tools.
  • Experience with quality, security, and accessibility scanning outputs.
  • Library, publishing, records, metadata, or public-facing portal experience.
