As a Security Officer Credential Screening in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support security-related operations by monitoring access points, screening people and property, and observing activity throughout assigned areas. This role combines customer service, communication, and attention to detail in a fast-moving environment. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal items entering or exiting designated areas in accordance with post instructions and established security-related protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity to help support orderly site operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observed concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or policy concerns for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
