Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is currently seeking a business litigation associate to join the firm's Washington, DC office. The Firm has a robust litigation practice that handles complex business disputes and white collar matters across the country. Qualifications:
- Ideal candidates will have maximum of 5-6 years of experience as a practicing litigator in connection with white collar investigations and complex business disputes and a strong desire to work in a fast-paced litigation practice.
- Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills. Federal clerkship experience strongly preferred.
- Experience must include researching and drafting motions and memoranda, participation in internal investigations, deposition outline and exhibit preparation, motion practice, discovery coordination, and an excellent understanding of civil and criminal procedure.
- The ideal candidate will have substantive experience in: complex commercial disputes and white collar criminal defense, and a strong interest in the foregoing.
- A successful candidate will be asked to participate in government and internal investigations, take and defend depositions, argue motions, manage large complex discovery, and meaningfully participate in business development efforts.
- Must be licensed or eligible to be immediately licensed in Washington, DC. Maryland and/or Virginia bar is a plus.
- Candidates must be physically located in the Washington, DC area. Remote candidates will not be considered.
Compensation:
- $240,000 - $300,000 a year is the estimated salary range for this role in Washington, DC.
- Actual compensation can vary and may be above or below the range based on qualifications and experience. Additional incentives may be applicable. The salary range for other firm locations will align with market rates.
