Responsibilities
  • To stay competitive, you will perform program landscape analysis and examine business trends, while contributing to programs impacting Microsoft. You'll also identify opportunities to develop and improve programs, and drive program strategy definition and project plan creation.

  • As you oversee a portfolio of projects, you'll communicate the program status and risk to stakeholders, and hold them accountable to following the schedule. You'll also drive collaboration between teams to ensure program processes are executed efficiently.

  • You will provide deep expertise to conduct cost-benefit analyses and evaluate success metrics, while optimizing the use of data analytics to derive insights and identify risks and opportunities. You'll also drive and influence change management processes in the organization.

  • You will build and deploy the core tools and methodologies of continuous improvement to drive achievement of targeted results in revenuegrowth,cost reduction, customersatisfaction,and employee satisfaction.

  • As part of any given CIproject,you can expect to 'Identify and fix root causes'of recurring operational issues rather than managing symptoms; Simplify and standardize processes while improving cycle time; Increase quality and drive scalability; Deliver measurable business impactacross margin and productivity; Build a repeatable improvement engine, embedding continuous improvement into how we operate

  • As you leadprocessimprovement and the development of business outcomes for complexprocesses,you will assess process performance.You'llfacilitateteams in definition of improvement goals, leveraging relevant benchmarks toseta high bar, andsupportimplementation of improvements to achieve targeted outcomes.

  • You willfacilitateprocess execution and lead a clear end-to-end view of expected business outcomes for owned processes.You'llmanage stakeholder engagement rhythm and partnerships by addressing pain points to resolve challenges and to drive sustainment of improvements.

  • Leveraging AI, you willfacilitatetheprocess ofimprovement sustainment, includingassessingperformance data,interpretinganalyses, andtranslatinginsights into recommendations to support teams' adoption of continuous improvement.You'lluse data results toidentifyopportunities, communicate results, lead the incorporation of process methodologies and leverage feedback from others toidentifyopportunities for future process improvements and work with teams to implement, using kaizen.

  • You will lead change management using your advanced understanding of the business and continuous improvement.You'lllead teams in end-to-end implementation ofimprovementofcomplex processes that span multiple business functions and lead documentation maintenance for flow, controls, underlying systems, and requirements needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications (RQs)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations,Engineering,Finance or related field AND8+yearswork experience in program management, process management, process improvement,process execution, process optimization

    • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 12+ years experience in program management, process management, process improvement,process execution, process optimization

    • ORBachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 15+years experiencein program management, process management, or process improvement

    • OR equivalent experience.

  • Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management Professional, Change Management (e.g.Prosci), and/or Agile certifications.

  • VS-codingexpertisewith deep knowledge and experience in areas of Data Science, Data Analysis, Statistics, Python, Hypothesis testing, and AnomalyDetection.

  • Proventrack recordof leading successful kaizen / improvement events that produce measurable business outcomes and sustainment.

  • 5+ years of experience applying rigorous critical thinking to breakdown complex processes toidentifyimprovement opportunities.

  • 5+ years of experience leading,facilitating, and influencing across a matrix organization, dealing with ambiguity, listening, applying human and data-drivenjudgementand finding common ground in strong opinion-based situations.

Business Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900.00 - $277,200.00 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600.00 - $303,600.00 per year.
