Our team partners with organizations around the world to create environments that connect people through technology.

What to Expect:

We offer a collaborative and flexible work environment, competitive pay and benefits, and a culture that values diversity, inclusion, and innovation. If you're ready to grow, create, and make an impact, Diversified is the place to do it.

How You'll Contribute:

The AV Fabrication Technician Level 2 is an intermediate role within the Advanced Technology Center fabrication team and plays a vital role in supporting the successful assembly of Diversified's AV, broadcast, and media systems. This position is designed for technicians who have mastered foundational wiring, assembly, and documentation tasks and are now developing deeper technical proficiency and broader responsibilities within the ATC workflow.

Level 2 technicians perform detailed wiring, labeling, cable preparation, equipment mounting, rack assembly, and documentation updates under the direction of Level 3 technicians and the Fabrication Technician Level 4 (Lead). They work with increasing autonomy and accuracy, applying engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to complete assigned tasks while maintaining strict alignment with Diversified's fabrication methods, quality standards, and zero-defect expectations.

A core responsibility of this role is preparing systems for Quality Assurance review. Level 2 technicians conduct their own initial quality checks, verifying wiring accuracy, labeling consistency, cable dressing, hardware mounting, and documentation completeness. The Level 2 technician will learn the QA process and assist in correcting deficiencies identified by Quality Assurance, Level 3 technicians, or the Fabrication Lead. Through this experience, Level 2 technicians deepen their understanding of the quality standards that define ATC fabrication operations.

Level 2 technicians also support the kitting phase of project delivery. Under guidance from Level 3 and Level 4 technicians, they prepare installation hardware, package components, assemble documentation, label materials, and ensure that required elements are included in the kit following QA approval. This hands-on involvement provides the foundation for future advancement into Level 3 responsibilities, where technicians take on full ownership of project kitting.

Beyond their fabrication duties, Level 2 technicians contribute significantly to maintaining fabrication floor readiness. This includes organizing materials, managing tools, staging equipment for upcoming builds, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards that support both efficient workflow and a client-ready environment. They help ensure that the ATC operates smoothly and maintains the level of professionalism expected in a client-facing facility.

Level 2 technicians also take part in the professional development of Level 1 technicians by offering guidance, modeling proper techniques, answering questions, and reinforcing the ATC's quality expectations and workflow discipline. This mentorship helps strengthen the team and accelerates the technical development of junior technicians.

Overall, the Fabrication Technician Level 2 position provides a structured pathway for professional advancement. Through hands-on fabrication work, exposure to more complex system concepts, participation in QA preparation and kitting, and daily collaboration with senior technicians, Level 2 technicians build the technical and professional capabilities required to advance to the Level 3 role. Their work directly supports Diversified's mission to fabricate consistent, reliable, and field-ready systems that embody the company's brand promise, Create the Unforgettable.
