As the Food and Beverage Manager at the Hilton Bloomington, you'll help oversee all food and beverage operations throughout the hotel, including the ChopHouse, Olive Lounge, banquet and catering functions, in-room dining and other F&B outlets.

What will you be doing?

  • Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, lounge/bar, banquet facilities, and in-room dining.

  • Ensure consistent service quality, food presentation, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction across all outlets.

  • Coordinate and support supervisors and team members to maintain operational excellence.

  • Monitor staffing levels and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during peak and non-peak periods.

  • Maintain high standards of customer service and hospitality.

  • Address guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.

  • Collaborate with Sales and Catering teams to plan and execute meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events.

  • Ensure banquet events are delivered according to client expectations and hotel standards.

  • Oversee banquet setup, service execution, and post-event evaluations.

  • Maintaining a high quality hotel image through effective housekeeping and sanitation in the Food and Beverage operation.

  • Securing all Food and Beverage property and inventories.

  • Implementing and supporting hotel policies and procedures.

  • Assessing and reviewing the job performance of subordinates and maintaining records of assigned associates according to policy.

  • Hiring, inducting, orientation, and training assigned personnel to meet departmental responsibilities.

  • Ensure appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, and appearance are maintained.

What do you bring to the role?

  • Strong knowledge of restaurant, lounge/bar, and banquet operations.

  • Knowledge of Beverage operations and understanding wine varieties, labels and vintages.

  • Mathematical abilities in order to determine and track inventory, controls, revenue productions, and other hotel financial statement.

  • Ability to work entire shift standing and moving about in banquet, restaurants and kitchen areas.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English language, to understand internal documents, reports and to interact effectively with guests and employees.

  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve.

  • High school diploma required. College degree in Hotel Restaurant Management or Culinary School is preferred.

  • Position requires 3-5 years previous Food & Beverage management experience.

Salary Estimate: $65,000-$75,000
