Job Summary

The Senior Data Analytics & Machine Learning Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced analytics, machine learning, and data-driven solutions that support strategic business objectives. This role combines expertise in data engineering, machine learning, software development, business intelligence, database management, and cloud technologies to build scalable analytical platforms and actionable insights. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical depth across the data lifecycle, from data acquisition and engineering through model deployment, visualization, and infrastructure optimization.

Job Responsibilities



  • Design, develop, and implement advanced analytics solutions that support business strategy and operational performance.
  • Build predictive, prescriptive, and machine learning models to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
  • Evaluate, test, deploy, and optimize machine learning algorithms and AI-driven solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL processes, data pipelines, and data integration solutions.
  • Integrate and consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources into centralized repositories.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, governance, and security across all analytical environments.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for business and technical stakeholders.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain relational databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models.
  • Support database administration activities and performance optimization initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain front-end and back-end applications that support analytics and business processes.
  • Create APIs and system integrations to support enterprise data and application environments.
  • Design and support cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure for analytics and machine learning workloads.
  • Leverage AWS and other cloud technologies to support scalable data storage, processing, and analytics solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, scalability, and availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, process documentation, and system architecture diagrams.
  • Present project updates, analytical findings, and technical recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Follow established development, security, governance, and compliance standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to analytics, automation, machine learning, and infrastructure.


Job Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, machine learning, software development, or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong experience developing predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database management.
  • Experience designing, developing, and supporting ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and AI technologies.
  • Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI and/or Tableau.
  • Full-stack development experience including front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, servers, storage environments, and database technologies.
  • Experience supporting large-scale datasets and high-volume data processing environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field required.


Work Experience



  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, data engineering, software development, or related technical roles.
  • Experience developing and deploying machine learning and predictive analytics solutions.
  • Experience designing scalable data architecture and enterprise analytics platforms.
  • Experience supporting cloud-based and hybrid technology environments.
  • Experience working with business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience developing enterprise applications and integration solutions preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience deploying machine learning models into production environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native analytics, AI, and data engineering services.
  • Experience with modern AI technologies, including generative AI applications.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, compliance, and data management frameworks.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale analytics platforms and architectures.
  • Experience designing scalable solutions for data-intensive applications.
  • Experience with automation platforms and advanced analytics technologies.
