Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and material management operations. This role requires a mechanically inclined individual with experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and equipment operation. The position involves maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating material deliveries, operating warehouse equipment, supporting facility maintenance activities, and ensuring materials are available for project needs. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proficient with computer systems, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety and operational standards.

Job Responsibilities




  • Maintain accurate records of delivered materials and inventory transactions.



  • Enter and update inventory information in tracking systems and databases.



  • Build, manage, and maintain material tracking logs and reports.



  • Load, unload, store, and organize materials, goods, and supplies using proper handling procedures.



  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including order verification and documentation.



  • Deliver materials to project sites as needed.



  • Handle purchase orders (POs) and bills of materials (BOMs).



  • Track company-owned tools and equipment inventory.



  • Monitor damaged inventory and report discrepancies promptly.



  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.



  • Support facility maintenance and warehouse organization activities.



  • Operate forklifts, box trucks, and company vehicles safely and efficiently.



  • Utilize power tools and warehouse equipment as required.



  • Collaborate with team members to support operational and project objectives.



  • Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.




Job Requirements




  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.



  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory management environment required.



  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.



  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.



  • Experience with inventory labeling, storage, tracking, and material management required.



  • Familiarity with cycle counting, order picking, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations preferred.



  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and box truck required.



  • Experience using power tools required.



  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.



  • Ability to create, maintain, and manage inventory and material tracking systems.



  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.



  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.



  • Ability to work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces when necessary.



  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.



  • Frequent use of warehouse equipment and power tools required.
