The Chief Growth Officer will lead enterprise-wide growth strategy and execution across the Client's business areas and future portfolio companies as the platform expands. This key leadership role will oversee and integrate the full growth engine - strategic planning, business development, capture management, and proposal operations - while working closely with the CEO, COO, leaders across the entire enterprise and with private equity sponsors to drive organic growth and support acquisition integration. As the platform expands through organic growth and planned acquisitions, the CGO will play a central role in integrating growth organizations, aligning market strategies, and building a unified growth culture across the portfolio. This role offers a rare opportunity for a senior growth executive to help shape the trajectory of a private equity-backed defense services platform positioned for expansion across the Department of War, national security markets and various other customers. Principal Responsibilities: * Lead the company's overall business development and growth strategy in alignment with corporate objectives. * Identify, qualify, and capture new business opportunities across targeted markets and customers. * Develop and maintain a robust, qualified opportunity pipeline sufficient to achieve corporate growth goals. * Oversee capture management and proposal operations, including bid/no-bid decisions, pricing strategies, and gate review processes. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key government customers, industry partners, and strategic stakeholders. * Collaborate closely with business unit leaders, program management, and technical teams to develop differentiated solutions for customers. * Monitor pipeline performance, win/loss metrics, and market trends to continuously improve growth effectiveness. * Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of business development and capture professionals. * Establish and manage strategic teaming partnerships that enhance the company's competitive positioning. * Provide regular updates to the CEO and executive leadership team on pipeline health, capture progress, and market dynamics. Professional Requirements & Qualifications: * Minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible experience in business development, capture management, and growth leadership within the government contracting, defense, or intelligence sectors. * Proven track record of successfully identifying and capturing large, complex government programs, including IDIQs, GWACs, and strategic contract vehicles. * Deep understanding of federal procurement processes, competitive positioning, and capture methodologies within SETA contracting. * Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing business development organizations. * Strong network and established relationships within relevant government agencies and industry partners. * Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. * US Citizen Leadership Profile: The successful candidate will be a strategic growth leader with a demonstrated ability to drive market expansion while building strong customer relationships.
