Technical Manager

Stellantis is transforming into a customer centric sustainable mobility company and is looking for motivated and passionate individuals to join our team. The Cross Carline and Project Engineering Team is a critical part of the vehicle development with responsibly to ensure overall program level feasibility and target setting.

The CCL Technical Manager leads the technical development and the industrialization of the vehicle, platform, or modules:



  • Manages the technical composition and configuration/complexity (Series Card/EBOM) management of the vehicle
  • Leads the technical activities of component development; management of (DV, PV, tooling kickoff plans, etc.)
  • Coordinates project activities with the production plant and manufacturing engineering / facilitates issue resolution
  • Facilitates technical escalation of part design with other projects, modules, vehicle platforms and advanced engineering
  • Leads the decision and change management processes including facilitation of meeting forums and cadence (decision meeting and CN/IAA meeting)


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor of Science in ME or related engineering degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of automotive development experience
  • Excellent communication and program management skills
  • Ability to simplify complex engineering topics, develop and deliver a presentation concisely
  • Ability to make quick decisions using sound engineering logic
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Ability to define the engineering logic behind system packaging layout solutions in the context of the vehicle/platform
  • Work effectively and manage non-direct reports across multiple unique disciplines
  • Must be a highly motivated, detail oriented, and a self-directed process thinker
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong written and presentation skills are a must
  • Ability to interface with all levels of management
  • Familiarity with automotive systems, components, and vehicle testing/validation processes


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master of Science in Engineering
  • Science/physics background with fundamental knowledge of vehicle system interaction / integration
  • Working knowledge of DFSS
