TheOncology Office Practice RN - Neuro-Oncologyis a Registered Nurse (RN) position supportingThe Oncology AmbulatoryClinics. This role is involved in the entire continuum of care for patients serving as a resource to both the patient and provider team. This experienced oncology nurse is responsible for the complex, multi-disciplinary care coordination of oncology patients and responsible for developing, evaluating, and revising the plan of care using a team approach that includes the patient, family, and care team. These clinics provide both standard of care and research chemotherapy/immunotherapy, supportive care infusions, and clinical interventions. Other performance and patient outcome services include nurse telephone triage, discharge planning, care coordination, ambulatory clinical evaluation, and advanced drug preparation. Patients are seen in our NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This nurse will support adult patients with our Neuro-Oncology Service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Nursing required
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
  • BLS CPR certification required
  • RN work experience in oncology required;2 years of experience strongly preferred
