What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with domain leadership and enterprise architects to understand business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determine corresponding solution designs.
- Assist domain decision-making by working with domain subject matter experts to articulate the value and tradeoffs of the solution options.
- Participate in the creation of enterprise architecture standards and evaluate the quality and compliance of delivered solutions to ensure alignment with those standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on initiatives in Agile team ceremonies.
- Produce, enhance, and refine conceptual, logical, and physical solution architecture for strategic initiatives that align with Enterprise Architecture principles and vision.
- Contribute to the research and identification of potential impacts of existing, new, and emerging technologies and trends within a domain.
- Participate in governance activities as required.
- Objectively contribute to the evaluation and resolution of domain specific architecture problems in partnership with domain subject matter experts.
- Assist other enterprise and solution architects to manage and design architecture for dependent products.
- Harness existing technology resources through collaboration to benefit solutioning efforts.
- Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite.
- Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.

- Maintain client internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.

- Architect and deliver cloud-based data platforms (Azure Data Lake) and scalable data pipelines using technologies such as Databricks, Kafka, etc.
- Develop and implement ETL/ELT frameworks for ingesting, transforming, and integrating data from diverse sources, including legacy financial systems, SaaS platforms, and real-time data streams.
- Design and oversee deployment of data warehouses, lakehouses, and analytics sandboxes to support business intelligence, machine learning, and reporting needs inclusive of Power BI and Snowflake.
- Define and enforce data governance, metadata management, and data quality standards in accordance with Enterprise Architecture guidance and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to ensure all solutions adhere to architectural standards, reference models, and technology roadmaps.
- Lead technical evaluations and proof-of-concept projects for emerging data technologies (real-time analytics, data mesh, AI/ML platforms).
- Produce deliverables such as architecture diagrams, data flow maps, security models, and technical documentation for solution handoff and operational support.
- Guide Agile/DevOps teams in implementing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code for data solutions.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Minimum 9 years of experience in multiple programming languages
- Minimum 9 years of experience in software or service engineering and delivery
- Minimum 9 years of experience in developing and integrating applications using relevant software architecture principles and patterns
- Minimum 9 years of experience in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), containerization (Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
- Minimum 9 years of experience in Data Architecture
- Minimum 9 years of experience in Commercial Banking products & services
- Minimum 5 years of experience in solution architecture or technical implementation
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data engineering or enterprise data platforms.

- Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

- AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, Certified Data Engineer, or similar
- Proficient in system design, integration, and implementation across multiple technology domains.
- Proven track record in deploying scalable financial systems ( payment gateways, digital wallets, stablecoin or cryptocurrency systems)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
- Understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and security standards.
- Data engineering platforms, big data technologies, and cloud-native development (microservices, Kubernetes).
- Stakeholder communication (technical and non-technical audiences).
- Leadership in Agile/DevOps environments.
- Analytical problem-solving for complex data systems.
- Project management proficiency in tools like Jira familiarity with SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
- Data modeling, data pipeline orchestration, data quality management, metadata management, and data lifecycle.
- Data lakes, warehouses, and lake house architectures; distributed systems and cloud data services.
- ETL/ELT processes, real-time and batch data processing, data integration, and automation.
- Payment networks, liquidity management, and settlement processes (as relevant to data flows).
- Global data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and compliance tools.
- Data encryption, access controls, and penetration testing methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working in two or more technical roles related to banking technical design
- Experience in delivering technology and enterprise level presentations
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Industry recognized certification in programming languages or cloud technologies
- Experience working in the financial services industry
