The Accountant role requires a strong understanding of the relationship between business operations and financial performance, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide concise, forward-looking, management-focused recommendations. This position exercises a high level of analytical and problem-solving ability to evaluate complex financial information, identify trends, and support management in establishing and achieving organizational objectives. This role performs advanced professional accounting duties related to complex financial recordkeeping for multiple entities, including detailed accounting analysis, allocations, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Responsibilities include preparing cash management reports, financial statements, and other financial analyses, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The Accountant II also coordinates and actively participates in year-end audits and supports process improvements. Essential Job Functions:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with financial analysis, account reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger accounting is strongly preferred. Knowledge of accounting systems, and advanced spreadsheet applications required.
