Job Summary:
The Advising & Outreach Team within the Office of Student Financial Aid at UW-Madison is seeking a Financial Aid Advisor that enjoys making connections with students, families, and campus partners about financial resources available to them. The ideal candidate will have a passion for meeting diverse audiences and be willing to learn and explain complex federal regulations to broad audiences in a manner easy to understand. As part of the advising team, the incumbent will assist in meeting current and prospective students and families to discuss financial aid options. They will serve as advisor on duty on a weekly rotation assisting our frontline services Team, and lead in responding to emails in a timely manner using CRM. The incumbent will assist in meeting outreach requests in alignment with our mission of increasing accessibility and diversity across campus while serving as a liaison to different campus/community partners. Compensation:The minimum salary is $54,000. Salary is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalists.
