Title: Global Partnerships Coordinator Executive Area: Academic Affairs College/School/MBU: Admin Support Units Department: Office of Global Affairs Work Location: Amherst Schedule:Full Time Work Arrangement:Hybrid Job Summary The Global Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, negotiation, and administration of UMass Amherst's global partnership agreements in accordance with university policies. The role provides operational, analytical, and coordination support to faculty, staff, and international partners to advance the University's global engagement activities. Essential Functions Coordinate and implement the global partnership initiation process; assist in negotiating, developing, and drafting agreements; and ensure compliance with all UMass Amherst procedures for partnership approval and implementation. Other Functions Manage student workers as required. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Preferred Qualifications Two years of professional work experience in a position that is directly related to international education in a higher education context. Working Conditions Work is performed in a standard office or indoor university environment and involves minimal physical exertion. Work Schedule and Work Arrangement Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. This position has the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule, which is defined by the University as an arrangement where an employee's work is regularly performed at a location other than the campus workspace for a portion of the week. As this position falls within the Professional Staff Union, it is subject to the terms and conditions of the Professional Staff Union collective bargaining agreement.
