Ecolab is seeking aReliability Foremanto join our team in Garland, TX. As a Reliability Foreman, you will be responsible for installations, repairs, and maintenance of machinery. This includes planned and unplanned maintenance on equipment, physical structures, electrical, and process and utility systems. You will also run diagnostic tests on malfunctioning equipment and perform repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance activities in all areas of the plant.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing planned and unplanned maintenance requirements on utility systems and production and processing equipment. Ensure utility systems provide continuous supply of heat, steam, cooling, electric power, gas, or air required for operations. Optimize uptime and minimize downtime for production and processing equipment.
- Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer instructions and engineering specifications.
- Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
- Use analytical instruments including multi meters, measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers, power and hand tools, welding and fabrication equipment, and office equipment such as computers, printers, fax machines, and copiers.
- Provide related technical guidance and expertise. Assist and coach Maintenance, Operations, and QA associates.
- Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Close work orders in CMMS, while writing technical summaries and descriptions, and detailing work performed for permanent record keeping.
- Comply with the following initiatives: Maintenance Excellence, 5S, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Process Safety Management (PSM).
- Comply with National, State, local building/mechanical/electrical codes; safety codes, OSHA regulations; fire codes; company's and customer's policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Plant Location: Garland, TX
- Work Week & Shift: Thursday - Monday from 07:00 - 16:00
- May require on-call availability, overtime, or shift work as needed
- May be required to fill a floating support role for maintenance shift, but it is expected to primarily work a Thursday-Monday 0700-1600
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience leading or overseeing maintenance staff
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) or work order tracking
- Experience with building construction coordination

Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance or similar discipline
- Mechanical experience in a chemical plant
- Expertise in electrical, electrical controls, mechanical, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Knowledge of plant utility systems, including compressed air
- Previous experience with industrial motor controls (Servo and VFD)
- Working knowledge of National, State, Local building codes, OSHA and standard industry safety rules/regulations
- Experience working with pumps, welding, bearings, electrical safety, forklifts, gears, hydraulics, valves, and rigging
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Experience working in a TPM environment
- Experience working in a Lean manufacturing environment
- HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or multi-craft certifications
- OSHA safety training or certification
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions
Physical Requirements of Position:
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds chest high
- Kneeling, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching above and below waist level
- Working in a chemical processing plant with variable temperatures, odors, noise levels, elevated heights, and/or confined spaces

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $32.36 - $48.55. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
