SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing the sales of products being sold through his/her assigned customers/accounts. The primary purpose of this position is to sell/market CMPC Forest Products NA manufactured products and assist in developing a long-term business partnership with his/her assigned accounts.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Function as a member of the sales team.
  2. Act as a liaison between the customers, CMPC Forest Products NA and the corporate headquarters in Chile.
  3. Serve as the primary customer contact person.
  4. Responsible for supporting and maximizing the sales team potential.
  5. Draft sales plans and presentations.
  6. Build and maintain a strong business relationship with new or existing customers.
  7. Manage sales and monthly volume expectations for the U.S. market for our paper packaging products.
  8. Maximize current clients fidelization and aggressive hunting for new clients.
  9. Manage some accounts throughout the U.S. and allocate all assigned monthly sales volumes.
  10. Create monthly and annual sales forecasts for his/her assigned customers/accounts, as well as determine realistic actions necessary for budget fulfillment.
  11. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  12. Manage and process customer orders, sales acknowledgments and shipping schedules as needed.
  13. Maintain continuous communication with customers coordinating and controlling all data interchange such as purchase orders, shipping schedule and acknowledgement.
  14. Investigate, handle, and report any customer problems (e.g. shipping issues, billing disputes, quality problems, profile differences among others) including visiting locations if needed. Thereby, assuring compliance with the highest customer service and relationship standards.
  15. Learn and understand our product line as well as the specific details related to each customer's requirements.
  16. Provide assistance in the development of marketing tools such as advertising, product brochures and literature, internet resources, and trade shows.
  17. Special projects and assignments as needed for business.
  18. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in supply chain management, logistics, business management, or similar field required.
  • 3+ Years of relevant work experience
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to travel
  • Customer service-oriented attitude at all times.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems involving a large number of variables.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers.
  • Ability to self-motivate and have a take-charge approach to achieving goals independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the customers and with associates throughout the company.
  • A curious mind and strong learning attitude. Honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics.
  • Meticulously detail oriented, as well as the ability to grasp the big picture.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience preferred.
  • Must have attention to detail and focused concentration.
  • Must be able to learn new tasks and complete tasks independently.
  • Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness.
