Job Description:
Task include collecting quality information on a company issued Iphone. Scouting fields looking for silk % and pollen counts. All training will be provided. They need to be able to walk multiple miles a day through different terrain. They will meet every morning on site in Waco and then travel in their personnel vehicle to fields to conduct scouting. Fields can be up to an hour away from the site. Mileage will be paid from the Waco site to all fields. We will not reimburse mileage for the drive to and from work. Field Inspectors are involved in all facets of seed production within a location.

- Indoor seed processing and packaging activities may include receiving, scanning, cleaning, treating, sorting, counting, labeling or warehousing seed.
- Outdoor activities may include planting, pollinating, note taking, data entry, hand harvest.
- May be responsible for preventive maintenance of equipment in assigned areas.
- R&D positions may also include electronic data collection in field and laboratory settings utilizing PC and handheld data collection devices.
- Manufacturing (Production) positions may also include organizing, moving and placing seed into storage, maintaining inventory accuracy utilizing electronic inventory systems.
- Activities may require bending and lifting, long periods of sitting or standing.
- Extended hours may be requested during the peak seasons.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and / or related experience may be required.
- Must be able to understand verbal and written task and safety instructions delivered in English, and to perform assigned tasks accurately.
- Must be able to adhere to all client SOPs and to support all site safety requirements.
- Previous experience with MS Office / Excel and other standard computer and software systems may be required.
- Basic mechanical ability / understanding of equipment maintenance (able to operate and trouble shoot equipment) may be required.
