Basic Qualifications
Master's degree + minimum 3 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field or equivalent relevant experience + minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a C2BMC DevOps Engineer. This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's core defense/intelligence services and systems. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES: * Proficient understanding of OpenShift The ideal candidate will have experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python or PowerShell. They will also have experience administering virtualization technologies such as VMWare as well as experience with Windows Server and Active Directory integration in a cloud environment. The candidate should have experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. Other desired skills include experience developing Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with Gitlab, implementing configuration management methodologies using Ansible, prior experience with a Nutanix Hyperconverged on-prem cloud platform, experience with Windows server and Active Directory. virtualization solution, spread across multiple remote suites. This environment includes solution like virtualization hypervisor platforms, remote virtual desktop infrastructure, other direct user experience technologies and other monitoring solution for virtual infrastructure. Must be detail oriented individual that is able to track the impact of events/actions on the underlying infrastructure being managed, such as patching and maintenance. Target salary range: USD $105,814.00/Yr. - USD $114,494.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
