Work Schedule:
Day/Evening Shifts. Hours vary 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Saturdays may be required on a rotation 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. You will work at Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

Pay:

  • Additional components of compensation may include:
    • Evening and night shift differential
    • Weekend differential

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to:

  • Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals, perform inventory control, and compliance; provide excellent customer service, and maintain pharmacy records.
  • Adapt to a changing environment, demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude to complete any work within the scope of the role.
  • Be a strong team player, highly detail-oriented, and a critical thinker who easily identifies how to prioritize work and manage time within a busy work environment.

The ideal candidate will have sterile compounding or hazardous drug compounding experience. Experience performing in a fast-paced and high volume environment preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred

Work Experience

  • 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required

Licenses & Certifications

  • Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
