Requisition Summary

Kenworth, a division of PACCAR, is seeking a highly motivated Talent Acquisition Internto join our Human Resources team for Fall 2026 in Kirkland, WA. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in recruiting and talent acquisition.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Partner with Hiring Managers to manage full-cycle recruiting activities.
  • Own job requisition creation, updates, and closures within the applicant tracking system.
  • Source and attract external and internal candidates using tools such as SAP SuccessFactors and LinkedIn.
  • Review and evaluate resumes, conduct initial candidate outreach, and assess alignment with role requirements.
  • Coordinate and manage interview processes, including scheduling and logistics for phone screens and onsite interviews.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between Hiring Managers, Candidates, and HR stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to build diverse and high-quality talent pipelines.
  • Draft and post job descriptions.
  • Support candidate onboarding and partner with HR to ensure a smooth new hire experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data within SuccessFactors.
  • Represent the company at recruiting events, including career fairs, networking events, and campus outreach initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience.

This internship is for graduating high school seniors and students currently enrolled in college.

The salary range for internship positions is $25 an hour for undergraduate students and $30 an hour for graduate students.
