This role leads crossfunctional teams to meet customer delivery, cost, quality, and contractual requirements while executing strategic initiatives focused on continuous improvement, capacity expansion, automation, and cost discipline. The GM partners closely with senior leadership to translate enterprise strategy into operational execution, ensuring KPI targets are met across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & DaytoDay Execution Own all daily plant operations with direct accountability for P&L performance Drive execution of daily KPIs, operational reviews, and performance management Lead capacity planning to support ~50% YoY growth (internal operations and outside services) Ensure ontime delivery, smooth production flow, and effective vendor management Act as a customerfacing leader for delinquency reduction and NPI support Maintain operational rigor while planning for future growth and scaling needs Quality, Safety & 6S Excellence Champion a strong safetyfirst culture across all operations Ensure robust quality systems aligned with aerospace/manufacturing standards Deploy and sustain 6S discipline, standard work, and visual management Embed corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes and verify effectiveness Continuous Improvement (CI) & Process Optimization Drive Kaizen events, workflow optimization, and standard work enhancements Leverage automation and technology to improve productivity and consistency Develop performance dashboards and use data to drive factbased decisions Financial Management & Budget Ownership Full P&L accountability with focus on sales, EBIT, and cost control Manage fixed and variable costs with disciplined resource allocation Develop and execute multiyear capital plans aligned with growth and ROI Oversee vendor contracts, pricing, and procurement performance People Leadership & Organizational Development Lead, mentor, and hold leaders accountable for departmental performance Build strong bench strength in safety leadership, CI ownership, and KPI literacy Drive a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and continuous learning Strategic Planning & Growth Enablement Contribute to executivelevel strategic planning Translate business strategy into executable operational roadmaps Support scaling, expansion, and new product introductions Integrate capacity, quality, safety, CI, and capital planning into one operating system Qualifications Snapshot 10-15 years progressive operations leadership (aerospace manufacturing strongly preferred) Proven P&L ownership and KPIdriven performance delivery Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred Demonstrated success leading change, scaling operations, and improving margins Deep experience with Lean, 6S, CI systems, KPI deployment, and safety leadership Quality, Safety, Planning, CI, 6s, Day to Day Ops, KPIs All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. Relocation Relocation is authorized for this position. The range of pay for this role is $240000 to $265000 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. This role is eligible to participate in the Company's Executive Bonus Plan, paid out up to 40 of the applicable annual base salary, based on the company's performance in the prior calendar year. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. The position will be eligible to participate in the Company's Long-Term Incentive Program This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)).
