About the opportunity
In this role, you contribute directly to QIAGEN's ability to deliver high-quality reagent products on time and in full. You support the transactional and configuration aspects of reagent production, ensuring product content and composition meet internal specifications and customer quality requirements. Working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Project Management, Sales & Marketing, and Shipping, you help ensure smooth execution across planning, production, and delivery while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Your tasks include
  • Preparing, issuing, and controlling production orders to align material availability with product demand, while scheduling and tracking production flow through manufacturing
  • Planning make-to-order product configurations for intercompany shipments and external customer orders, in close collaboration with OPM and PM teams
  • Supporting database analysis, master data maintenance, and cleanup activities, including accurate and timely data entry
  • Assisting in the application of tools and process improvements that strengthen the link between forecasting, financial, and manufacturing systems
  • Ensuring timely and efficient processing and shipment of reagent orders through close coordination with Customer Service and Sales
  • Supporting the creation and review of product-related documentation in compliance with ISO 13485 requirements
  • Identifying and implementing efficiency improvements, supporting Continuous Improvement initiatives, and contributing to KPI reporting
Your profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in the life science industry or a comparable combination of education and experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in production planning
  • 1-2 years of experience communicating with external stakeholders
  • Proficiency with SAP R/3 and/or SAP S/4HANA systems
  • Experience or familiarity with ISO 13485 regulated environments is an advantage
  • A proactive, self-directed working style with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationshipbuilding skills, combined with a solutionoriented mindset
The estimated base salary range for this position is $58,000-$72,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes a commission plan, annual bonus, and generous benefits.
