We're looking for a hands-on Service Technician with strong mechanical abilities, who thrives in the field and takes pride in keeping critical equipment running at peak performance. In this role, you'll be the expert customers rely on-maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Ingersoll Rand positive displacement (PD) blower systems. You'll play a vital role in delivering responsive, high-impact service that supports customers' operational needs.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting & Diagnosis:
Inspecting and diagnosing mechanical failures in pumps, and related rotating equipment (e.g., assessing leaks, vibration, and unusual noise).
- Repair & Maintenance:
Disassembling, repairing, rebuilding, and assembling pumps. This includes replacing impellers, bearings, mechanical seals, and packing.
- Documentation:
Recording maintenance activities, parts used, and technical findings for compliance.
- Technical Interpretation:
Reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure proper assembly
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- 5+ years of relevant / equivalent technical experience: millwright, maintenance, or
field service.
- Must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to: DUI in the previous 5 years, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
- Must furnish own tools (basic hand tools)

Travel & Work Arrangements
- Position is 90% in-shop repairs and up to 10% travel for field work
