Job Summary
The Stockroom / Material Handler is responsible for managing, organizing, and distributing construction and facility materials to support daily operations. This role includes receiving, storing, tracking, and issuing materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records using Oracle-based systems. The position requires strong attention to detail, forklift operation experience, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Receive, store, organize, and issue construction and facility materials as requested
  • Move heavy toolboxes, gang boxes, and materials throughout facility locations
  • Maintain organized storage areas, cages, and stockroom inventory
  • Identify and retrieve materials accurately based on requests
  • Enter and update inventory data using Oracle (ADMS) system
  • Measure and weigh materials using scales, rulers, or similar tools
  • Assist with ordering and restocking materials as needed
  • Operate electric or battery-powered forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Support shipping and receiving functions, including UPS/FedEx processing
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and stock levels
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment


Job Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years of warehouse, stockroom, or material handling experience required
  • Experience using Oracle (ADMS) or similar inventory management systems required
  • Experience with shipping and receiving (UPS/FedEx) preferred
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment
  • Strong computer skills and data entry accuracy
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment regularly
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent required


Work Experience



  • 3-5 years of relevant stockroom, warehouse, or material handling experience required
