PURPOSE

SCM Performance and Intelligence team is a core team that has significant and wide-ranging responsibilities across supply chain, NAM, and Global Operations. The team sets the development and governance of reporting and analytical tools for the greater NAM SCM team. In addition, the team works closely with all other SCM teams to provide analytical resources to empower them with their data needs, provides automation and efficiency improvements, enabling visibility and data-driven decisions through modern BI tools and data platforms, providing insights and transparency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES




  • Create key analysis reports using PowerBI platform that allows NAM SCM functional teams access to Lakehouse data.
  • Create reporting and analytics throughout the NAM SCM organization, and share insights at all levels of the organization.
  • Provide support with migration of existing legacy report environments to use the latest BI platforms and Lakehouse data.
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for NAM SCM when it comes to issues, tickets, and questions for global Supply Chain Intelligence [SCI] & Data and Analytics [DNA] teams.
  • Act as the NAM SCM COE (Center of Excellence) by partnering/consulting with NAM SCM functional teams for PowerBI Report/Process designs and Databricks data architecture.
  • Support governance of NAM SCM reporting landscape, ensuring critical quality standards and expectations are adhered to.
  • Create and update a comprehensive data dictionary for clear documentation.
  • Participate in the development of new analytical solutions and operational reporting for NAM SCM functions and the department as a whole

  • Supply Chain Management: Distribution Operations, Inventory Control, Logistics, Productivity Planning, and Purchasing



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES




  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize, manage and complete requests with deadlines.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and ability to understand issues and drive solutions.
  • Proven Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft PowerBI expertise with knowledge of PowerQuery and DAX. Certification preferred.
  • Proven Intermediate/Advanced understanding of SQL.
  • Strong understanding of Excel.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written & verbal, with occasional PowerPoint presentations.

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE




  • Bachelor's degree with focus in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Operations Research preferred.
  • 3+ years related work experience preferably in Data Analytics, Supply Chain or Logistics.
  • Experience with SQL, Databricks and Power BI.
  • Other programming languages preferred.
  • Experience with SAP AFS.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Industry experience preferred.

  • At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday.The working location of this position is Portland, OR.
