Ameresco has an immediate opening for a DER Business Analyst. This role requires a blend of organizational acumen, technical curiosity, and interpersonal fluency, as you will work across various internal teams, cultivate relationships with clients and vendors, and manage critical administrative processes that drive platform success.

TheBusinessAnalystfor theDistributed Energy Resource team withinAmeresco's Asset Sustainability Groupis a dynamic and pivotal role, responsible forsupporting the administrative, commercial, and coordination aspects of the platform's business development, implementation, and ongoing operations.You will be the primary administrative contact for DER Analytics, ensuring that all contractual, logistical, and billing details are coordinated and communicated effectively with stakeholders, while technical delivery and platform configuration are owned by engineering and integration teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the internalbusiness developmentteam totracknew business opportunities for the DER Analytics Platform.
  • Work with technical teams to coordinate, finalize, and distribute timely and accurate quoteswithsupporting documentation to customers.
  • Generate and maintain documentation required to support internal and external billing processes, including coordination with Finance and Operations teams.
  • Monitor the status of ongoing platform subscriptions, renewals, and upgrades
  • Maintain project trackers and shared documentation repositories, keeping all stakeholders informed of key milestones and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular meetings with DER team and other key stakeholders to review status of projects in development, construction and operation.
  • Procure hardware, instrumentation and software, including generatingpurchaserequisitions, place orders, and track shipments.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, playbooks, and training materials to support consistent delivery of operational services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in administrative management, preferably supporting technical or energy-related projects.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with enterpriseand departmentalsoftware systems suchD365andSmartSheetsas well as strongMS Excelskills.
  • Add Familiarity with AI or automation tools to help improve efficiency, a plus.
  • Education or work experience in engineering field a plus.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detailwiththe abilityto handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ableto work collaboratively across teams and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $58,000 -$92,500 (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role.

Actual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. This range supports our commitment to pay transparency and compliance with applicable laws. Compensation may vary by work location, including remote arrangements.
