Process Engineer Intern

As a Process Engineering Intern who is responsible for executing on the day to day engineering tasks provided by management for existing manufacturing processes and methods. Ideally, this position would recommend equipment for use and develop jigs, fixtures, and tools to aid in the assembly and/or warehousing operations processes. This role requires contribution to team effort.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Investigate and correct process problems as they are identified by internal and external customers
  • Execute on the engineering tasks identified by management
  • Potentially develop and implement improvements to the existing manufacturing processes and methods
  • Potentially develop and implement quality improvements in manufacturing
  • Develop jigs, fixtures and tools to aid in the assembly of hearing aids
  • Develop and implement process work instructions as instructed by management
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Perform other duties as necessary or as requested by management


More About You:



  • * Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 2yrs of college studies
  • Understanding of manufacturing process flow
  • Basic drafting skills
  • Able to work in a team environment



A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between: $20 - $25 hourly
