Job Description
Drive improvements to retirement plans technology platform through partnership with internal stakeholders and external vendor partners. This position and team make improvements and enhancements to our Retirement Plans business systems platform. Serve as liaison between internal business (retirement plans) partners and external vendors on requirements, functional design, testing, and implementation. In addition to major project work, implement minor enhancement requests and resolve highly complex production support issues. Strong collaboration and communication skills and the ability to convey ideas in a clear and concise manner will be key to success in this role. This position could be hybrid (Lincoln, NE) or could be remote based on proximity to an office location. What you do: * Responsible for system administration, configuration, and support for Retirement Plans vendor software packages and solutions. * Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) of several functional systems, demonstrating advanced knowledge of all aspects of a given functional system * Write business requirements and work with business areas to define new products, new functionality, and other system modifications. * Coordinates the development of system solutions that meet the needs of the business. * Work closely with business unit stakeholders and software partners to ensure the quality assurance testing and sign-off process for business systems prior to delivery and deployment. * Serve as a liaison between Retirement Plans and software partners in addressing daily production problems and identifying necessary improvements to the technology platform. * Work on multiple projects concurrently, often with short turnaround times for project implementation. * Effective at researching and solving complex problems across multiple applications. * Work with internal business partners to determine root causes of system problems. * Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes, and operations. What you bring: * Bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. * 2+ years of relevant I.T., B.A., or B.S.A. experience required. * Strong communication and analytical skills are required. * Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) desired. * Experience with "Relius" and/or "Omni" system(s) desired. * Experience in retirement plan industry or knowledge of retirement plans desired. * Experience with Agile desired.
